Untitled
by: Amber
Night after night
You came into my life so long ago
All you brought was pain and torture
Night after night
Day after day
I'd lean on you to fix my problems
All you gave were empty promises
You taught me to fill up on food
To fill a hollow heart
Lies after Lies
Binge after Binge
Then you'd whisper in my ear
And tell me I'm bad.
Guilt was your passion
And it fused into my soul
I'd run to extinguish my guilt-ridden gut
Purge after Purge
Cries after Cries
I'd sit there and think
When did this become normal?
When did this ever feel good?
This is not a dream
Amber wake up
This is not a life worth living
And it's not worth dying for
All it brings is pain
All it wants is your soul
So escape while you're alive
For tomorrow might be the end
Prayer after Prayer
Night after night
You came into my life so long ago
And today is the day that you must go.
