Me
by: Shaheena
I'll cry and I'll cry
But I' don't know why
I feel
Yet I know not what I feel
I don't feel
And I know when
When my satiety is overwhelmed
I wish so hard for a magic cure
'til this day, I'll search high and low
Hoping 'that feeling' will go
But in my heart of hearts
I know
That the answer lies within
Esteem and love for myself
Is where the cure will begin
Everyday I want to runaway
From those that know
Do they: judge me?
Think less of me?
Think I'm weak?
Understand?
Frustration and worry
Is not my intention
For I am no different
To what they knew before
I am just someone
Someone who doesn't know
Know how to love themselves
For it is not something you learn
Nor something you are taught
Just something that grows
Something is what someone will become
