Distorted Religion
by: Tara

The False Image is my God
To which consistantly I pray
That I might be fashioned in it's likeness
More and more each day

The scale is my Alter
The laxitives are my Prayer
The perfect weight would be my Heaven
Cause Death might get me there

Hunger is Temptation
Food is always Sin
Weight gain is a trip to Hell
And there is where I've been

I fight Spiritually in Vain
As You can plainly see
For my battle scars are Physical
Though the wars inside of Me

But there's something I'm not getting
For no matter how I try
My efforts get me nowhere fast
And a Savior I can't find
