Emotions
by: Kris Williams

Emotions are my rainbows
So deep inside my soul
With colors of my feelings
Do I really need control?

Releasing them so ever slow
Afraid to let them out
The colors of my rainbow
is what I'm all about

There's love and peace and joy inside
to give to all my friends
But also these emotions
I hide and then pretend

The sadness, anger, and all my hurt
There locked so deep inside
Trying to release them
Letting down all of my pride

They slowly leave my body
With every single breath i take
The hiding them inside of me
Was all a big mistake

I know now for my life
That I must share what's inside
Share the feelings of my soul
Those feelings I can not hide
