Healed
by: Anonymous

bulimia is brutal/ and disheartening
it binds the brain with each urge purge bite
strips away dignity and drapes in shame
the constant fear that if they knew their love would cease immediately
their doors fly open
and they would take leave of the house you so precariously created
a fragile fortress of trust
of reliance
compliance with secrets
are ripping my heart from me from you from all hope of
salvation
abandon perfection
become addicted only to self-preservation
promise dedication
to life
- not mere survival
to love you deserve
