by: Kelly L.

she reaches for the sky
and in the stars she reaches
for a life like none other
a life of dreams and of the words
   left unspoken in her heart
and when the tears fall
the stars glow and the moon can
   hear her cry
you reach out to catch her
but who can save her now?
i'll hold on tighty to you if you
   promise not to let go
there is a twinkle in your eyes now
maybe you can help me grow
i was so cold and quiet
and i am sorry to be unspoken
if you felt me it would make
   your eyes water slowly
music dances in my mind
as the clouds float on by
can you say what you feel
to me...or does the rain drops
hurt you too?...hold on...i hold you
closer then you will ever know...
why do you cry when you let me go?
