The mess is rising
The tears are rolling
The hate is mounting
And there’s no-one here

Time is flying
The days are dying
The hurried nights
Are all a blur

The sun is shining
People are laughing
But I’m forced to stay in
To contain the disease

The loneliness is growing
I know they are all spying,
The helplessness is intensifying,
When they tell me that I am lying
