At Woodland Forge we believe that issues with food need to be dealt with directly and experientially in a safe and nurturing context. These food issues range from picky eating to emotional overeating, and from binge eating to restricting caloric intake. These issues are treated across ages in our program. Treatments are also offered within a family based treatment paradigm for children, adolescents, and young adults still living at home. Parents play a critical role in therapy and are an important factor in determining sustained recovery. Woodland Forge, with its comfortable eating room, has the facilities to directly engage patients and their families in exposure and skills-based interventions to treat disordered eating.
