University Health Service Eating Disorder Treatment Team, U.C. Berkeley
University Health Services (UHS) has an established team of health care providers to help students with eating disorders. Eating Disorders Treatment Team (EDTT) members have special training in the treatment of eating disorders and are sensitive to the difficulties inherent to recovery. The EDTT is a diverse group od professionals assembled to address the physical, mental, and nutritional aspects of an eating disorder. The EDTT is available to registered U.C. Berkeley, Mills College, and GTU students. The EDTT consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, nutritionist, nurses, therapists, ans social worker who meet regularly to coordinate the care of students with eating disorders. Taking advantage of the EDTT is not only important but is simple. Call the UHS appointment office at (510)642-2000 to schedule an appointment with an EDTT nurse.
