I am an eating disorders specialist providing psychotherapy and consultation for all types of eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, emotional eating).
I believe that recovery from an eating disorder is a multifaceted experience, encompassing emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of being.
I tailor each client’s treatment individually based on their unique needs, combining elements of psychodynamic theory, existential/humanistic philosophy, family systems theory, and spiritual elements such as mindfulness-based practices, delivered within an active, relational here-and-now focus.
In my work with clients, I draw upon not only my professional training and 14 years of clinical experience, but also my own personal journey of recovery from an eating disorder.
In addition to my specialization in eating disorders, I also have expertise with related issues, including addictions, depression, anxiety/stress, relationship/intimacy issues, and self-esteem.
