Suzanne Dron Gazzolo, PhD, LCPC
Dr. Gazzolo trained in a private outpatient eating disorder clinic. This training included individual, family and group work. Dr. Gazzolo's practice is heavily influenced by the ideas and principles of Narrative Therapy. She collaborates with her clients in finding ways that resonate with them to facilitate recovery. Dr. Gazzolo has worked with girls and women from pre-adolescence through late adulthood for over a decade. She understands that eating disorders are by their nature complex, so therapy must carefully address the unique needs of individual clients. When appropriate, Dr. Gazzolo works both with the individual and their family. Dr. Gazzolo also knows that recovery is often benefited by including other professionals, such as dieticians and physicians. She acts as the client's advocate and the treatment team's leader to support her client's physical and psychological well-being.
