I am a licensed clinical social worker, certified eating disorder specialist, Kripalu certified yoga teacher, and Lifeforce Yoga® practitioner for mood disorders. For more than twenty years, I have specialized in the treatment of eating disorders and mental health issues with an emphasis on providing compassionate, safe and effective treatment.
My practice is the result of my work and current research into several disciplines that led to the development of my signature approach working with adolescents and adults seeking emotional well being. My work emphasizes psychotherapy and integrated use of evidence based yoga and meditation when appropriate, to build confidence, self-esteem, stamina and recovery. I understand that trust and confidentiality are the cornerstones of the courageous journey to healing allowing patients to move toward joy and health.
