Successions LLC
Thank you for your interest in Successions LLC. Over the past several years of working with clients I have come to understand that adding another facet to treatment could be very valuable in battling an eating disorder. A therapist’s role is to work with the root causes of the eating disorder; it can be difficult to do this because it’s easy to be distracted by the symptoms that present themselves. Working with a coach can free up valuable time in the therapist’s office to work on the deeper issues. We can work on any topic ranging from challenging the eating disordered thoughts to overcoming that last fear food, to relearning to exercise healthfully. If you live in the area, we can practice eating out, grocery and clothes shopping. I will collaborate with you to brainstorm strategies, to set and achieve goals, to find strategies that work for you. I am here to support you, help you hold yourself accountable and to celebrate each success with you.If your therapist would like to be able to talk with me to ensure that we are all on the same page, releases can be signed for that purpose.My definition of success is somewhat nontraditional. It is not something unattainable, but something each of us experiences each day- we just need to recognize it. Success accepts both imperfection and responsibility. It is something that can be attained but cannot be taken away. It is entirely personal and may or may not be recognized by anyone else. Success can be redefined to account for new experiences.
