Partial Hospitalization Program Description:At Sol Stone our program provides a full range of multidisciplinary services for the treatment of individuals suffering from Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and non-specified Eating Disorders. Our program is designed for those individuals that require daily medical supervision to stabilize or gain weight, to control and decrease binge-eating, vomiting, laxative abuse, diuretic abuse, and compulsive exercising and to address co-morbidities such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, post traumatic stress and self injury. The program is designed to treat individuals that have been unresponsive to outpatient care as well as individuals discharged form an inpatient or residential setting.Program Goals:Multidisciplinary in approach, the treatment team develops a full range of therapeutic interventions aimed at meeting the specific needs of the eating disordered individual. Our comprehensive approach includes understanding and managing the medical, nutritional and psychological needs of each individual. Treatment goals for each individual include:* Weight stabilization and restoration * Stabilization of eating disorder symptoms * Providing a better understanding of the harmful effects of eating disorders * Understanding the biochemical & physiological effects of eating disorders * Promoting positive attitudes about weight & body image * Developing healthy coping skills * Developing a healthy relationship with food to maintain physical well being * Improving self-confidence and interpersonal skills * Enhancing quality of life * Managing depressive symptoms and improving mood stabilizationProgram Schedule:The program chedule is 8:15AM – 6:45PM Monday through Friday and 8:00AM – 1:00PM on Saturday.
