I am a fully licensed psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with males and females who suffer from anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, body image issues, and food & exercise addiction. I provide individual, group and family therapy to both adolescents and adults. I work with a multi-disciplinary team approach that can include a dietician, physician, and/or a psychiatrist. My treatment approach integrates cognitive behavioral, psycho-dynamic and family systems theory. In my work I integrate healing on three levels...physical, emotional and spiritual.
I facilitate 12 week therapy groups for college students, and for women, ages 30 and over. I also offer groups for parents who child is struggling with an eating disorder. My office is conviently located 1/2 block from central campus at the University of Michigan. Free parking is available. I operate on a fee for service basis. Most commercial insurances provide partial reimbursement.
