In my approach, I focus on what I feel the client needs to have a meaningful and successful counseling experience. I also focus on a client�s freedom of choice and responsibility while developing self awareness. While I believe that things happen in our past that we have no control over, I also believe that we create our own destiny, life situations, problems, and dysfunctional beliefs in the present. With gentle yet direct confrontation I try to help to change negative emotions which then lead to behavior results. I believe that part of therapy is the client putting into action what they have learned.
