San Diego Therapy
At San Diego Therapy, I help provide the on going support and feedback necessary to overcome eating disorders. You are on a tough journey and recovery is not an easy process. After time, an eating disorder takes on a life of it's own. Even if you want to break free of the cycle, there is an ongoing battle between the positive and negative aspects of your brain. Many times, eating disorders overpower the strength, faith and courage necessary for success. I will help you win this battle. The first 6 months of recovery are the most difficult. It is very important to have an environment where you can be open and honest and have trust in the process. I understand eating disorders and the pain and suffering they cause. At the same time, I understand the purpose they serve and the integrated role they play in one's life. If EDs only caused negative feelings, they would be easier to give up. The importance of therapy lies within figuring out what the role your eating disorder is playing in your life, as well as to figure out how to create a new role for this empty space that is created once the eating disorder is extinguished. I will help you along this journey.Website: www.sandiegotherapy.orgEmail: lily@sandiegotherapy.orgPhone: (619) 218 5363Lily Kotila, M.A. Marriage Family TherapyRegistered Marriage and Family Therapist intern 51125supervised by Laura Carr, MFT #38400
