I'm a psychologst in private practice, having formerly been the staff psycholigst at a hospital-based eating disorders treatment program and an inpatient chemical dependency treatment facility. I offer long-term, individual psychotherapy around issues underlying compulsions, obsessions, and self-destructive behaviors. I do not work on weight management, weight loss, or weight control, but instead attend to the mental and emotional development of a flexible yet reliable sense of self. I also offer group therapy for individuals interested in exploring their relationship patterns and establishing more satisfying interpersonal ties. I do not belong to any preferred provider or health maintenance organizations, but work with patients to develop a treatment process that meets their individual needs.
