I provide individual, couples, and family counseling to clients struggling with eating disorders, negative body image, unhealthy relationships with exercise and food, health and wellness difficulties, and related issues. I work with women, men, adolescents and some children, and take a therapeutic approach founded in respect and the reduction of shame. My work is at once strength-focused and challenging, and I have good working relationships with primary care physicians, dieticians, and psychiatrists to create multidisciplinary treatment plans for people. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques and orientations, working with clients to tailor treatment to fit the individual, while integrating methods shown to be particularly effective with such problems.
