I'm a Family Therapist and Certified Addictions Counselor specializing in treatment resources for family members affected by an eating disorder. I provide family therapy that focuses on utilizing the family members to support and assist the eating disordered individual to eliminate the eating disorder behaviors. Individualized, interdisciplinary (nutrition, medicine and psychiatry) treatment plans are developed to provide the recovering individual with varying degrees of support and therapy over an extended period of time to ensure full recovery. Services offered besides individual and family therapy include:on-going groups for family members, adults and adolescents; telephone counseling; a 3-month family lecture series, and consultation and presentations to schools.
