My practice is conveniently located in Midtown Houston. I work with a wide variety of adult clients with special respect for multicultural and religious/spiritual aspects of your identity. I work with diagnosable eating disorders as well as related issues (e.g. body image, self-esteem, and difficulty with emotion management). I utilize an individualized treatment approach which takes into account your unique culture, values, and experiences. We will work together to explore underlying causes for your current concerns and ways in which to improve the quality of your life. My framework for change is the belief that through increasing your self-awareness, you will be empowered to live a life more consistent with your values and ideals. In addition, I make use of specific approaches tailored to eating disorder concerns. I sincerely believe therapy can help you experience increased satisfaction, peace, and fulfillment with yourself, your relationships, and your life circumstances.
