Pershing Turner Centers
Pershing Turner Centers provide comprehensive outpatient treatment for the full spectrum of eating and weight cycling disorders. Our program is comprehensive in focus, designed to help each person find their own path to recovery. Individual, family and group counseling, nutrition services, art therapy, and medical and psychiatric management are available. PTC also offers a network of complimentary and alternative practitioners, including movement therapists, equine therapy programs and psychodrama practitioners. PTC offers a variety of workshops on topics such as body image, weight cycling, intuitive eating and more. Assessment and referral services are also offered. In addition, PTC offers a speakers bureau for a variety of audiences, as well as training and supervision for clinical professionals.
PTC also offers a 10 week program on intuitive eating and movement, "Hungerwise", specifically designed for clients dealing with yo-yo dieting and weight cycling.
