Neurofeedback
Dr. Michael de Jong is a registered psychologist (1529) who has been trained to use neurofeedback, biofeedback and psychotherapy to treat a variety of psychological and physiological problems. His approach is to fully map the brain's electrical activity, test the client's underlying physiological systems and assess their psychological status. Data from the brain mapping, psychophysiological assessment and psychological testing is used to determine a treatment strategy. Depending on the presenting problem, treatment may comprise of in-session biofeedback or neurofeedback training, take home exercises or the use of take home devices. Dr. Mike de Jong is a registered psychologist and trained in psychotherapy and the use of EEG and peripheral biofeedback methods. He treats a variety of problems including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, head injuries & sleep problems. AD/HD & autistic disorders are treated, but only through biofeedback or neurofeedback methods.
