Mirasol Eating Disorder Recovery Centers
Mirasol is a CARF-accredited residential eating disorder treatment program for girls ages 12-17 and women 18 and up. Mirasol uses an integrative approach to the treatment eating disorders, combining cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapies with alternative therapies proven effective in the treatment of chronic stress-related conditions. Featured therapies include EEG neurofeedback training, EMDR, polarity therapy, psychodrama, acupuncture, body image work, art therapy, dance-movement therapy, trauma resolution, yoga and as well as group process and individual psychotherapy. The program includes a 4-5-day family program and one full year of intensive aftercare. We strongly believe that the psychological experience is inseparable from physiological and spiritual states, and that working with the whole mind-body-spirit simultaneously promotes transformation in individuals and, ultimately, in families and communities.
