Mike Rosen, M.D.
I am a psychiatrist and internal medicine physician with significant experience in treating all forms of eating disorders. I prescribe medications and treat the patient in all areas of care, including psychiatric, medical and nutritional therapies. I am a board-certified internist (Emory University, Atlanta), and recently completed my psychiatry residency (Chief Resident in Psychiatry) at SUNY Stony Brook. I went back for the second residency so that I could manage all aspects of eating disorder problems. I began in this field by helping individuals with obesity-related issues overcome their problem. I am kind, down-to-earth, sympathetic and empathetic to the pain one feels. I have the “country doctor” internal medicine approach with now the psychiatric expertise as well. I work closely and collaborate with other professionals. These are highly complex issues, and I have the breadth of training and experience needed to manage them.
