Lynn Sorensen, RD, LD/N
Lynn is a Registered & Licensed Dietitian who has specialized in the treatment of eating disorders for the past 10 years. She provides nutritional counseling to children, adolescents, and adults struggling with eating disorders or disordered eating patterns. Lynn uses a personalized, non-diet approach to help clients make the food and behavior changes necessary to achieve a healthy relationship with food, mind, and body. She combines nutrition education, individualized meal planning, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and experiential activities in the treatment of her clients. Lynn is sensitive to the food and weight related fears that go hand-in-hand with the recovery process and addresses these fears in a supportive and encouraging environment. Lynn is committed to helping people with eating disorders and believes in full recovery. She believes this is achieved by working closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team - a therapist, a physician, and a psychiatrist if needed.
