R.N., B.S.W., M.S.W., C.S.W. This private practice is a community based practice in the city of Peterborough, Ontario (1hr 10min from Toronto). Clinical treatment is offered to individuals and their families who suffer from: Anorexia, bulimia, chronic dieting, compulsive overeating, the stigma of obesity, trauma or sexual abuse, and depression. This practice provides a variety of treatment modalities: individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, family support, and couple counselling. My background has been working in the area of eating disorder since the early 1980's. I worked in the in-patient eating disorder program at the Toronto General Hospital. Currently, in addition to my private practice I am also a part time medical social worker at Peterborough Regional Health Center. We are trying to get an eating disorder program going at this hospital. I am on a sliding fee scale and charge between 45-85 dollars for a one hour session.
