I am a Board-certified art psychotherapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and EMDR therapist and have been treating all types of eating disorders since 1989.
I offer an individualized, multi-dimensional treatment approach which focuses on the emotional, physical, and psychological well-being of each individual client. I not only work on symptom reduction, but also help each individual understand the underlying conflicts that cause them. When helpful, I incorporate art therapy and journaling to assist in the process of self actualization. I am trained in EMDR and have been using it in my practice. Individual and group sessions are available.
I utilize a treatment-team approach working with nutritionists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, and PCPs. Family participation is encouraged when helpful.
