Las Vegas Eating Disorders Anonymous
My name is Brandon Hunter; 28 year old male living in Las Vegas Nevada. I was discharged on June 20, 2010 from Rosewood Capri center for eating disorders in Wickenburg, AZ where I spent 46 days in treatment. I have suffered with Anorexia & Exercise addiction for the last 8 years of my life. Upon meeting with my discharge planner in treatment before my release, I was informed that there are NO eating disorder anonymous groups in the Las Vegas Valley. Upon returning home I was amazed at the utter LACK of support there is in Las Vegas for those whom suffer from eating disorders. The passion for recovery burning deep within my soul has prompted me to start my own EDA group here in Las Vegas.
I appreciate everything EDA has done for me in recovery and am trying my hardest to spread the word about my EDA meetings so that I may not only help myself in recovery, but help EVERYONE else in the Las Vegas Valley who suffers from an eating disorder or has a friend/loved one who suffers.
