Kenilworth Outpatient Eating Disorder Programme
We offer an effective 10-week outpatient eating disorder treatment programme. Participation is required twice a week for group therapy process on Monday and Thursday evenings and once a week for hour-long individual sessions.
Sessions include a skills based element as well as a support group session, and deal with issues such as self esteem, mindfulness, distress tolerance, dealing with emotions, communication and relationships with self and others, perfectionism, relapse prevention, family group and body image.
During group therapy, people begin to see that they are not alone and that there is hope and help. It is comforting to hear that other people have a similar difficulty, or have already worked through a problem that deeply disturbs another group member.
