Constantly thinking about food, weight, eating, exercise, and body image can be enormously draining, time consuming, and painful. In addition, feeling that you have to face these issues by yourself is overwhelming. It may be hard to imagine that you can stop obsessing in this way, yet with help, it's absolutely possible. I am a clinical psychologist in private practice and am passionate about these issues. Helping people achieve a comfortable relationship with food, their bodies,and themselves so they have energy for everything else that matters is what I love doing. My style of therapy is interactive and compassionate, and integrates a variety of approaches to address the symptoms and the underlying roots of the problem. I treat anorexia, bulimia, and compulsive overeating, and see individuals, couples, families, and adolescents.
