I have worked with many individuals struggling with an eating disorder: adolescents, college students and men and women of all ages. My belief is that they have the ability to move beyond its limitations towards a healthy, content relationship with themselves and others. My therapeutic interaction is eclectic and utilizes aspects of cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic models as well as experiential and existential approaches. I feel strongly that, when possible, significant others should be involved in the individual's treatment, whether that is a spouse, parent(s), or sibling(s).
