Dr. Goldsher recognizes the pain, confusion, and hopelessness that can often surround an eating disorder. She truly believes in the possibility of healing from this complex disorder. She has found that such healing can come about through the deep processing of the underlying issues that contribute to the disorder. This is the kind of work that Dr. Goldsher seeks to do with individuals struggling with this difficult issue. She also recognizes that there is sometimes a need to collaborate with other medical professionals (nutritionists, psychiatrists, art therapists etc.) to facilitate the healing process and has much experience in doing so. Finally, Dr. Goldsher understands the fear that may surface as one considers the possibility of seeking help but encourages those suffering to take this first step towards a different kind of life, a different way of feeling.
