Eating Disorders
Eating Disorders" will be presented on June 26, 2012, by Carl Christensen, MD, Ph.D., Addictionologist; and Lori Perpich, LLP, MS Clinical Behavioral Psychology; Cognitive Behavior Therapist and EDEN Program Facilitator. This program will define various eating disorders and their consequences, explore neurobiological theories of addiction, describe physiological consequences of eating disorders, discuss screening tools, and provide information on treatment options and resources for eating disorders. This program is part of the annual Dawn Farm Education Series. Anyone with a personal or professional interest is welcome to attend. All programs are free and open to anyone interested. Registration is not required. 1.5 hours of free C.E. approved by MCBAP(Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals) is offered for each workshop. A certificate to document attendance is provided on request. The Education Series is organized by Dawn Farm.
