Eating Disorders Treatment Centers (EDTC)
Eating Disorders Treatment Centers (EDTC) opened in 1999 under the direction of Michael Pertschuk, M.D., a nationally recognized expert in the field of eating disorders. Our treatment team is one of the most experienced in the region, and all members of our clinical staff hold doctorate or master’s level degrees. We offer Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs for adolescents and adults, males and females. Treatment is scheduled three days per week from late afternoon to early evening, allowing participants to continue with work and/or school while receiving intensive therapy. Program services include group therapy, individual and family therapy, one-on-one nutritional counseling, a staff-supported dinner, and medication management when appropriate. Our programs are small, providing individuals and families a high level of personalized care and attention.
