Eating Disorder Groups
The Outpatient Eating Disorder Group is an eight week closed group that is structured for individuals recently discharged from inpatient hospitalization or individuals who are currently struggling within their outpatient treatment and could benefit from additional structure and peer support.
· Participants are required to continue treatment with their outpatient team. The Outpatient Eating Disorder Group is not a substitute for outpatient individual or family counseling and should be utilized in conjunction with current outpatient treatment.
· Participants are expected to commit to 8 consecutive weekly meetings.
Group will be held weekly for 90 minutes. After the conclusion of initial eight week group, group leaders will recommend additional group involvement if it would benefit participants.
