Dr. Heather Malkoff
Heather Malkoff, Psy.D, & Associates offer Individual outpatient therapy that provides tailored support for individuals suffering from eating disorders. We work in close contact with each patients dietitian/doctor to optimize the likelihood of relapse. Ongoing psychological care will target mindful awareness, behavioral management, interpersonal difficulties, stress management, identifying and coping with emotional triggers, and relapse prevention. Several group therapy sessions are offered throughout the week to accommodate clients' scheduling needs. Individuals are provided an opportunity to discuss difficult issues with their peers in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Group members benefit from the added support of those who share similar eating behaviors and difficulties, demonstrating that they are not alone.
