Dr. Hallie D'Agruma
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice serving Williamstown, MA, Bennington, VT, and Hoosick Falls, NY and surrounding areas and specializing in the treatment of eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, emotional eating, compulsive exercise, body image disturbance
and dissatisfaction). I also have experience working with trauma and related addictions, relationship issues, and challenges with respect to pregnancy and parenthood. My approach to treatment is psychodynamic, with the goal of helping people to know themselves and the issues underlying their present difficulties more deeply, but I draw on techniques from other schools of psychological thought to translate insights into action in order to provide symptom relief and to promote change. I conduct individual, couples, and group psychotherapy with both women and men across the lifespan, and I am sensitive to issues of culture and diversity.
