Dr. Debra Rosenzweig
My practice includes psychotherapy with adults, adolescents, and children who have eating disorders of all types. My approach toward the work is relational and feminist, yet I typically tailor the treatment to best serve the unique needs and symptoms of each individual with whom I work. Individual and group psychotherapy as well as psychological assessment are provided as well as conjoint referrals to physicians, nutritionists, and family therapists as needed. In addition to private practice, I am a part-time psychologist in the Renfrew Center's NYC Day Treatment Program: teach psychology at New York University; and am a supervisor in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at Columbia University. My office is in Greenwich Village, close to the 6 and N/R trains 8th street stop. Initial consultations are free.
