Dr. Barbara Cole - Online Therapy & Internet Counseling
Dr. Cole has a Bachelor’s degree, two Masters Degrees and a Doctorate in Psychology. She is a certified hypnotherapist, licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California, a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, as well as a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. She has authored several books, and is one of only a few interventionists who both practices and trains other therapists and interventionists in a specialized eating disorder intervention method.
Prior to her private practice, treatment direction and intervention work specializing in eating disorders, Dr. Cole also specialized in intervention and private practice in the area of chemical dependency treatment and trauma recovery. For the past eight years, Dr. Cole has been the Clinical Director of The Victorian of Newport Beach, an adult women’s residential eating disorder treatment facility.
