Diana Elwyn, MS MFT
Diana has over 20 years experience treating eating disorders in the Santa Cruz, CA area. She uses evidence based therapies such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and Family Based Therapy (Maudsely). She treats all types of disordered eating, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, compulsive over eating, compulsive exercise, selective eating disorder. Services include; individual psychotherapy, family therapy, process groups, prevention, parent education, therapeutic meals groups, Intuitive Eating workshops and groups, expressive arts groups, dietitian, and intensive outpatient services.
Diana has been licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist since 1993. She works closely with all members of the treatment team to optimize a healthy outcome. Diana is warm, compassionate, and straightforward. She uses a practical approach to help people develop a healthy relationship with their food, weight, and body image issues, while also helping them to understand and resolve the underlying issues.
