Del Amo Hospital
The Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program at Del Amo Hospital is an intensive, comprehensive outpatient program for adult men and women diagnosed with eating disorders. Patients receive specialized treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulemia Nervosa, Compulsive Overeating and Eating Disorders Not Otherwise Specified, including binge eating disorder.The program is based on a 6 week recovery model that addresses the psychological, physiological and socio-cultural aspects of eating disorders. The program offers a structured, multidimensional treatment approach in a therapeutic outpatient environment. The goal is to assist patients in their journey toward health. The program offers multi-disciplinary group therapy and individualized treatment planning to address the underlying psychological issues that are known to perpetuate eating disorders in order to achieve long term recovery.
