Crystal Bowlby, Ph.D
Dr. Bowlby uses an Integrative Approach in therapy, combining a relational psychodynamic conceptualization with cognitive behavioral interventions as appropriate. She utilizes a multidisciplinary approach, working closely with dieticians, psychiatrists, and physicians. In addition to eating disorders, Crystal works with a variety of other difficulties, including depression, anxiety, abuse/trauma, relationship issues, spiritual issues, and grief/bereavement.
Dr. Bowlby runs two current process groups in the LA/Orange County region. The first of these runs on Monday evenings, from 6-7:30P in Yorba Linda. The 2nd group runs on Thursday evenings, from 6-7:30 PM, in La Mirada. Cost is based on a sliding scale fee. Group therapy provides a unique opportunity for individuals to receive support in their explorations and attempts to recover.
