Cornerstone Day School
Cornerstone Day School (CDS) is a private, state-of-the-art therapeutic school for middle and high school students struggling with severe psychiatric disorders. Since 2009, CDS has offered a specialized clinical track for students with eating disorders. Students and their families have access to an onsite professional team that includes an eating disorder specialist, registered dietician, psychiatrist, nurse, and yoga instructor. These specialists provide a full complement of services, including weekly individual and family therapy, daily process and psycho-educational groups, daily therapeutic lunches, weekly nutritional monitoring, weekly yoga, and intensive psychiatric and nursing care.
Students with eating disorders are fully integrated within the Cornerstone community and academic program. CDS offers the full spectrum of academics and electives necessary for a quality education, and meets all the requirements of the NJ State curriculum. CDS is accredited by NIPSA and MSCSS.
