Dr. Thomas is a licensed clinical psychologist that is committed to providing individuals and families in the Greater Tampa Bay Area affected by eating disorders with services that reflect the latest research regarding effective treatment. Treatment approaches include Family-Based Treatment (FBT or Maudsley Method) for adolescents, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Dr. Thomas also works within a faith-based framework and, when desired, Biblical principles may be used as a further catalyst for recovery. Day, evening, and Saturday appointments are available.
Because choosing a therapist can be a daunting task and is a very personal decision, Dr. Thomas offers a free 25-minute consultation to provide you the opportunity to gauge your comfort with her and the office setting, as well as ask any questions your may have about her approach, the therapy process, policies and fees, etc.
