BridgePoint Center for Eating Disorders
BridgePoint Center for Eating Disorders has been established to provide intensive rehabilitation through a community-based, team approach which integrates professional support with self-help/peer support. We are a non-profit organization providing support services to individuals with eating disorders. We are a community-based organization in partnership with Midwest District Health and Saskatchewan Health, to deliver programming for a three-year demonstration project. BridgePoint is part of the continuum of services for eating disorders offered in the province of Saskatchewan. Programming offered includes: Interim residential intensive rehabilitation, Relapse Prevention Weekends, Peer Support Retreat Weekends, Integrative follow-up services, Awareness and Education, Resource/Information Center, Evaluation Process. Our Philosophy: Supporting individuals through a multidisciplinary team approach, involving health professionals and peer support workers. To ensure quality, flexibility, open communication and encouragement of ongoing interdependent planning within BridgePoint, the health districts and the province. To have a trusting, relaxed environment which is separate and apart from complex daily stressors, where individuals can begin to heal. To provide ongoing, supportive and individualized services in an approachable, nurting manner. You can expect us to remain flexible enough throughout the program to allow individuals to progress at their own rate to their own personal/optimum level of wellness. You can expect that our primary concern will be the dignity and respect of each individual and their needs.
