BrainPaint Neurofeedback
A UCLA addiction study of 121 volunteers demonstrated that neurofeedback enhanced treatment center retention, variables of attention, and recovery rates one year following treatment. This UCLA study has been successfully replicated by other research teams. Neurofeedback also helps with the most common co-morbidities of the eating disorder community: anxiety, trauma, OCD, fibromyalgia, insomnia and depression. With neurofeedback issues such as distorted beliefs and trauma, that operate at a sub-conscious level, can be experienced in a safe witness state. People who experience neurofeedback, specifically alpha-theta report they are more connect emotionally, have increased peace and serenity, are more open-minded and better able to access and integrate repressed experiences. In addition, the brain opens up to complementary psychological therapies.
