I am a NJ Licensed Psychotherapist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, including Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, and "disordered eating" ie: possible early onset and/or behaviors which may lead to an eating disorder. My past experiences working in a specialized hospital setting, has enabled me to accurately assess and provide the appropriate treatment modalities to individuals. I also utilize a multidisciplinary approach which coordinates treatment with a select group of qualified registered dieticians, physicians, and psychiatrists, when appropriate. I work to educate the individual and family members, as well as assisting the individual to develop the skills needed to empower themselves by improving self esteem, body image, and appropriate coping skills.
