Nutrition care is an essential component of effective eating disorder treatment. As a registered dietitian with inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization eating disorder experience, I bring clinical knowledge and evidence-based treatment methods to my practice.
Nutrition care is individually tailored to meet client needs; in-office visits, long-distance phone and email consultations are available.
Individualized topics include nutrition education around physical and physiological impacts of eating disorder behaviors, eating for health and optimal function,
symptom management and reduction, menu planning, supported dining out and food shopping experiences, food preference work, intuitive and mindful eating, and normalized eating support.
I work with clients to challenge negative beliefs around food, improve health through individualized nutrition care, and most of all, empower the client to realize the freedom that accompanies recovery.
