Anita Bohensky, Ph.D.
Dr. Bohensky is a graduate of New York University where she received her Doctor of Philosophy in Developmental Psychology. Her training is extensive having received a Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health, New York, NY. She is Director of the Whole Child & Adolescent Center, the Clinical Director of Growth Central, a Assistant Adjunct Professor and Supervisor at Columbia University Teachers College, a Training Analyst at Blanton-Peale Graduate Institute, and a Supervisor at Postgraduate Center for Mental Health. Dr. Bohensky has been a Consultant in Learning Disabilities/ Attention Deficit Disorder/and Childhood Psychopathology at New York Foundling Hospital, at Abbott House, and at SUNY Learning Disability Division, NYC. She has an abiding interest in the psychoanalytic basis of behavior which underlies her work with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Bohensky is the author of the Anger Management! Workbook for Kids and Teens.
